I watched some English comedies in the class.
They were so funny and exciting. However, I think that they were connected to the characters of each people too closely.
I think this because they laugh at the unique character. Of course, Japanese comedy also laughed at a habit, movement of somebody or the way he or she says. But Japanese express misunderstanding in the conversation. Probably, most people laugh at not humanity but misunderstanding or movement caused by it. For example, one of my favorite comedian "Anjash".
So, while I enjoyed them, I felt something different from Japanese comedy.
In addition, I think that laugh makes important effects for merchandise.
We watched many TV commercials everyday. They also need importance providing laugh in order to impress the goods.
If they impress more better imagery to customers, the sales performance become more higher.
Making laugh is different in the each country. However, it is common that laugh has many effective aspects for human and society.

Is Mrriage Becoming a Thing of the Past?
Today, I'd like to talk about marriage.
Nowadays, many Japanese men and women do the "Konkatsu".
It became really so big popularity that TV drama made with this theme.
Konkatsu is the way people who want to marry meet someone who also want do so. It is probably a kind of arranged introductions.
It has many styles. For example, there are introductions with cooking, with drinking at bar for only the single and so on.
Why has "konkatsu" become so popular?
One of the reason is that 30~40 people doesn't have time to get a girlfriend or boyfriend in their daily life. Even though they had experiences dating when they were school studnts, the chance has being less and less.
Secondly, searching the partner through an intermediary has possibility to meet many people more than one searches through own life.
Thirdly, it's not only young people who use this.
50~60 people also use it to look for second partner after divorce.
50~60 is the age which can free from child-care and work. So, some of them decide to divorce and want to get own happiness.
I think that it is the best way to get a partner by myself, but asking a third party to help is also needed and useful.
I'd like to marry someday because I want to get respectful partner and babies. However, if I can't meet such a person by myself, I probably register in the network.

Rise in Number of Animals Rescued by the RSPCA
Last week, I the BBC program "Rise in Number of Animals Rescued by the RSPCA".
RSPCA is "Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals".
Animals, especially cats are often rescued by it.
They have some reasons. Movement, financially problems, lost of interests and so on...
However, the most terrible reason is violence by those who kept them.
Probably they really have no way to keep their pets, but if there is possibilty which we become violent at least, we should not keep them.
It is important not only for pets but also for human.
I have a dog now at home. His name is "Senbei", means japanese rice cracker.
He was rescued by officials losing his way and kept in a public health center.
If we got him from there, he was going to be killed.
I don't know why he lost his way, but he was scared with the noise of bicycles and cars. He couldn't walk near them. So I can guess how scary he experienced.
We must try to understand pets and take care of sincerely.

Last Sunday...
Last Sunday, 23th May, I hold the American Football clinic for players at high school. On this event, about 100 students attended.
I am a staff of American Football team at the university. And I have 3 jobs; a recruiting leader, a scouting leader and a member of athletic association at my university.
This clinic is one of the big events for a recruiting leader.
In the US, most of all boys have played it.
However, in Japan, it is so rare to play when they are high school students. Many Japanese people think that American Football is a sport for university students. Actually, 80% of members of my team experienced at university for the first time.
If you have interest in American Football, please post comments♪♪
this is a PV of our club. 3rd grade players made this.

Music Review
Today, I would like to talk about my favorite song "Dear you 15yars old" (Haikei 15sainokimie) by Angela Aki.
She is a Japanese-American women who practiced the classical music on the piano in Japan. Also, she learned the jazz piano in the US.
She said that these hard experiences make what she is today.
This song is about context of a letter which sended to himself or herself 15 years old and 20 years old each other. The writer talk about her trouble to herself who is 20 years old. The receiver give herself who is 15 years old adbvices.
I like this point. when I was 15 years old, 5 years ago, I was looking for what I really want to do. About getting into the university, about friends, about study, about a club activity...I had to concern about many things. The answer for that isn't written on the text book and answered by teachers and parents because it was in only inside of my heart. So, I almost lost myself. This problem isn't only for me but for all my classmates. The age of 15 is like that.
However, I became 20 this year, the issues which I was always thinking doesn't seem so big problems. I can't decide it is good or not, but I, 15 years old, made efforts for anything however it didn't work. At least, I have being forgot furiousness more and more.
Thus, this song makes me recall those memories.
I try to advance more than yesterday and more than today!!

Schools Could be Allowed to Ban Veils
On April 22th, I learned that the UK government passed the law which allowed shools to ban Muslim wearing veils at class.
It is often said that the US is "the melting pot" or "the salad bowl". However, the UK has same situation.
In the UK, the Chuch of England has been acknowledged as national religion. Indeed, non-chuchgoers was not given the right to hold public office until 1829. However, Sikh, Hindu and Muslim have been rapidly growing today, mainly because of high birthrates. Muslim is the most largest among them. Of course, whoever has any other religion, kids go to school to know not only subjects but also common sense.
I thought that English teachers are worry about obstruction and discrimination among children because of the religional symbols such as veils. Probably, they want Muslims' children to go to different school: only Muslims' school. They may want to get rid of thier worries conveniently.
How about in Japan? Will it be same situation for minolity people who believe in different God?
I don't think so. Because Japanese people had been accepted any different religions. I think that not fixing the religion as national religion is one of reasons for that. There are few people who criticize about them rashly.
So, I hope that Japanese schools approve Muslims even if thay comes japan, live in Japan and go to Japanese school with wearing veils. It is the right of nonaggression among modern society, I think.
